BRADENTON, Fla. -- A group of Bayshore High School alumni are launching their own independent study on a possible cancer cluster.

Last month the health department announced they would look into possible exposure graduates from the 70’s,80’s, and 90’s may have received.
A support group for those impacted say they don’t trust the health departments collection methods, so they are asking former students to also send them health information.
Group members believe about a hundred former students have died from cancer, so far.
