The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation.
Officials began their investigation after receiving a call of a deceased person in the wooded area on the northwest corner of Colonial Dr and New England St.
The decedent is a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, according to officials. They believe there is a possibility of the death being drug-related.
