It wasn't a gator gram and it wasn't a knock, knock joke that left a homeowner in shock on Monday evening. It was an actual alligator visiting the front door of her home in Lakeland.

Jeanne Smith sent ABC Action News photos of the reptile incident.
She says around 5 p.m. on Monday, the gator showed up in front of the garage door of the home in The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland.
The residents called a trapper to come take the alligator away. While waiting for the trapper, the gator made his way to the front door of the home, looking into the glass where the owner's dogs were staring out the window.
A trapper eventually took the gator away.
See ya later, alligator! (we had to say it)
