An elderly Lake Wales man was arrested and accused of groping a home health care worker against her will, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Ramon Levin, 83, knew the victim, 26, because the suspect and his deceased wife, Roberta Levin, employed her and her sister to provide home health care for Roberta, who was extremely ill at the time.

Levin called the victim on January 4 telling her he needed assistance. He picked her up and asked her to help set up a new condominium.

Once there, the victim started making the bed in the master bedroom when Ramon walked in, naked.

She told him she felt uncomfortable and that he should put his clothes back on, but he still approached her, pinned her on the bed, groped her, and asked her to have sex with him numerous times.

She was able to get away to a screened-in porch area.

After some time, he offered to take her home. They got back in the car, and Levin asked her not to tell anyone what happened. He then pulled into a Denny’s restaurant and ordered food and a drink. He eventually did take her home, but not without groping her again in the car.

The victim told her sister when she got home.

He was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant on January 7 and bonded out on January 9.
