A homeowner shot and injured a suspect who broke into their home on Wednesday night in Port Richey.
Deputies with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office say that at approximately 8:51 p.m. on Wednesday night, a male suspect broke into a home on Buchanan Drive in Port Richey.
The suspect was shot by a person in the home. He received non life threatening injuries and deputies arrested him.
Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident as an attempted home invasion.
The name of the suspect has not been released at this time.
