Allegiant Airlines flight returns to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport due to Mechanical issue.
Flight 806 to Springfield-Branson National Airport took off at 1:45pm from Clearwater. Shortly after takeoff the aircraft returned to the airport due to a mechanical issue.
An emergency was declared and the plane landed safely back at the airport.
133 passengers and six crew members were on the flight.
Allegiant says that they are working to get passengers on the way to Springfield-Branson Airport as quickly as possible.
