LUTZ, Fla. -- A Lutz family is out of their home on New Year's Day after a massive fire.
The home, located in the Heritage Harbor subdivision in Lutz, went up in flames around 10:30 p.m. on New Years Eve, according to witnesses on the scene of the fire.
Three cars in the driveway appear to be totaled and there is substantial damage to the garage, living area, second floor and roof.
The American Red Cross was on scene appearing to help people who live in the home.
Firefighters left the scene of fire around 2:00 a.m. on New Years Day.
ABC Action News is working to learn how many people were at home at the time of the fire, if anyone was hurt and the cause of the fire.
