Amazon is taking shopping to the next level by offering a unique way to purchase the hottest items on the market.

On Friday, they kicked off the new shopping experience by offering the newly released Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

The Classic NES is already sold out online at major retailers -- but on Friday, Amazon offered it up by pushing out text alerts 30 minutes before selling the item from their new shopping experience, The Treasure Truck.

At 11:30 a.m., Amazon sent out a push alert indicating they would be selling the Nintendo Classic out of the Treasure Truck and customers could pick it up between noon and 8:00 p.m.

Amazon would not say how many units were being sold, but within the hour, it appeared that the classics were sold out.

The Treasure Truck will follow suit and will send out push alerts through their Amazon App on what trending item, food or product they will feature for the day with the location you can pick it up from.

Amazon tells us you don't have to be a Prime member for the service, but you do have to be a member -- and you can only buy the items through the app before picking them up.
