Firefighters were battling a 2-alarm fire in Plant City that destroyed a cafe Friday morning.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the call at 12:40 a.m.at the Plant City Farm and Flea Market at 708 W. Sam Allen Rd.
They say there is no easy access to water so it had to be shuttled in. Officials say Cafe Ruiz within the farmers market is completely destroyed, but there are no injuries.
The situation wass dangerous for firefighters, so they used saws to cut holes in the side of the building and fought the fire from the outside.
Officials say the fire is now under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
