Pasco County sheriff's deputies are investigating a homicide in Zephyrhills, where a woman reportedly shot and killed her ex-boyfriend in a case of self-defense.

Frank Harrison, 45, went to the home of a former girlfriend in the 5500 block of Armstrong Street in Zephyrhills shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. He was armed with an assault rifle and reportedly had previously made threats to ex-girlfriend Alejandria Guinn.

When Guinn opened the door, she shot and killed Harrison, a sheriff's office report said.

No arrests have been made.

Preliminary information indicates the shooting was a case of self-defense, the report said.
