Clearwater police detectives arrested a 19-year-old woman with intentionally setting a car fire a week ago, officials said.

Carmen Chamblee has been charged with second degree arson. She was arrested Saturday morning by a Pinellas County sheriff's deputy south of the Clearwater city limits.

She was taken to the Pinellas County Jail for booking. She is scheduled to go before a Pinellas County judge for a first appearance Sunday morning.

Police said Chamblee is responsible for starting a fire that damaged a Honda Accord parked at 1111 Blanche B. Littlejohn Trail Aug. 27.

Chamblee was captured on surveillance video before and during the incident, a Clearwater police news release states. She told police detectives she thought the car belonged to her ex-boyfriend. However, that was not the case.
