It's back.
Slide the City is a block party loved by Millennials and Baby Boomers alike.
On May 14, North Boulevard near downtown Tampa will be transformed into the biggest block party of the summer. OK, it's technically mid-spring, but who cares when it comes to the slip 'n slide attraction.
Tampa is among four Florida cities selected as Slide the City sites. The others are Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Pensacola.
What is Slide the City? It's a giant waterslide trucked in and set for a day of fun.
