Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn says police will patrol Seminole Heights for as long as it takes, until the person behind the three recent homicides is captured.
During a roll call meeting on Wednesday, the Mayor and Interim Police Chief Brian Dugan gave officers a pep talk before they started their shifts.

Mayor Buckhorn told police "you guys go and hunt him down, and bring his head to me. Alright? Let's go get it done!"
The Interim Police Chief also said he will personally be on patrol on Halloween night, to make sure families who choose to Trick-or-Treat, feel safe.
Meanwhile, officials continue to ask the community to share a surveillance video showing a "person of interest" walking in the area of the first murder more than two weeks ago.
