One lucky person in the Bay Area became a millionaire overnight.

Although no one in Florida will be taking home Wednesday's $758.7 million Powerball lottery jackpot, three $1 million dollar tickets were sold out in Florida, and one was in the Bay Area.

The million dollar Bay Area ticket was sold at a Publix in Sarasota located at 8300 Bee Ridge Road.

Customers at the store on Thursday were dreaming about the winnings.

"I would buy a new house for my family and maybe give some to charity," said Sammy Upshaw.

The other $1 million Florida tickets were purchased in Miami Beach at a 7-Eleven and in Miami at a Publix.

So far, no one had claimed the $1 million Sarasota ticket. That person has 180 days to claim their winnings.

Wednesday's numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 with 4 as the Powerball. The multiplier was four times.
