Police continue to investigate a deadly crash in Pinellas Park.

According to police, a Ford F-150 crashed into a support pillar underneath US 19 at the Bryan Dairy Road intersection around 3:17 a.m.

The truck driven by Michael Hester, 60, of St. Petersburg, appeared to have been traveling very fast, according to police.

Hester died as a result of the crash.

Bryan Dairy Road and all US 19 frontage roads were closed early Monday, but have since reopened.

FDOT was called in to check the bridge for structural damage. We await word on their findings.
