Tampa police are investigating a shooting that sent a 1-year-old girl to the hospital.
Police say someone fired shots through the front door of a home located at 404 Hernandez Court just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
The bullet struck the toddler in the leg.
She was transported to Saint Joseph's hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police said at least 12 shots were fired and a man inside the home may have been the intended target.
The incident is under investigation.
