The following list will be updated as we get information on sandbag locations opening up throughout the Tampa Bay area as Hurricane Matthew makes its way toward Florida.
Hillsborough County
Sandbags will be distributed today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the following locations (There is a 25 bag limit per person):
- West Service Unit - 9805 Sheldon Road in Tampa
- South Service Unit - 8718 Old Big Bend Road in Gibsonton

Sandbags will be available to city residents starting Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at three locations:

Sandbag sites are open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice. Residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags. Some sites may have inmate assistance available. Residents are encouraged to bring their own shovel.

Sandbags will be distributed today from 1 – 6 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations:

- G.T. Bray Park, 5502 33rd Ave. Dr. W., Bradenton
- Lakewood Ranch Park, 5350 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton
- Stormwater Ops, 5511 39th St. E., Bradenton
- Rubonia Community Center, 1309 72nd St. E., Palmetto
- The City of Bradenton is distributing free sandbags to City residents in anticipation of inclement weather from Hurricane Matthew.
- Sandbags will be available from 7-6 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Public Works building yard, 705 13th Ave. W., with a limit of 10 per resident. The City has already given out about 400 sandbags.
