A Trinity man says he was locked inside an area Winn Dixie after using the restroom just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
Robert Bigot says he was picking up a few household items like milk, bread and cereal, but stopped to use the restroom. When he came out, he says everyone was gone.
"I went to the front and everyone was gone. I was yelling, 'Hello? Hello?' It was two or three minutes after 11 and everybody was already gone," said Bigot.
He says he didn't hear any announcement about the store closing.
When he called his fiance she called 911. Bigot says the alarm at the store went off when deputies arrived and started "messing with the door."
He says he handed over his license, deputies took down his info and he went home.
